Heastroke


Heatstroke occurs when the body does not regulate its own body temperature, and so does not control it. This results in a continuous rise of internal body temperature, irrespective of the external environment.

Signs of a rapidly progressing heatstroke include:
Unconsciousness for longer than a few seconds.
Seizures
Signs of difficulty in breathing
Confusion, severe restlessness, or anxiety.
Fast heart rate.
Sweating
Skin that may be red, hot, and dry, even in the armpits
Severe vomiting and diarrhea
